FAQ
How much will my project cost?
Each job we design is unique and customized to you, so the amount of time (and therefore cost) it takes to complete each project can vary. Contact us, and we will discuss your project’s unique needs in order to provide you with an estimate. Most publications are quoted at a per-page rate, and most other corporate design solutions are charged at our standard hourly rate. Can you do it right now?
BCS usually requires advanced notice of project deadlines. We will work together to develop a realistic timeline for the completion of your custom projects. It is sometimes possible for us to do rush orders for an additional fee. Send us a message as soon as possible, and we will get back to you to let you know if we have space in our schedule for a rush order.
How does the process work?
First things first: reach out to BCS and let us know what you need. Then we’ll set up a time to communicate about your project’s specific needs, and you’ll receive a custom proposal. Depending on what’s involved, our clients will often receive several rounds of starting concepts, and we’ll discuss each draft until we agree on the right design direction. Then in the production process, we allow for several rounds of revisions. In the case of brochure or publication design, this usually means checking for small errors or formatting issues. Once you’ve approved a final proof of your job, we’ll provide the final press- or web-ready files that you can send to your commercial printer of choice, or upload to your website, depending on the job. BCS has over twenty years’ worth of experience helping clients create designs for all kinds of needs, so if you don’t know where to start, we can brainstorm together to find the right strategy.
Who owns the finished design?
Our fees include licensing for all designs we create specifically for our clients. Information about licensing for all assets will be included with your estimate.
NOTE about Content
BCS works directly with our clients through shared ideas and many drafts to create one-of-a-kind works of art. Because this “meeting of the minds” is so important, BCS reserves the right to decline any design project we feel is not a good fit for our company.
